These handmade sandals are super popular for the right reasons

With the conversation around sustainable fashion stronger than ever, we’re always on the lookout for ways to apply it to our wardrobe, including our shoes.
We were excited to shop Topshop’s first vegan shoe range, and sustainable US brand Reformation’s first footwear collection.
Now another shoe brand is catching our attention on Instagram (and Stylist): it’s called Nomadic State of Mind and specializes in rope sandals that are just the right side of the hiking sandal trend.
Influencers such as Collage Vintage and Hannah Crosskey have embraced the sandals, and it’s making us want to grab a pair too, which is lucky as the US brand is now stocked in the UK.
The great thing about them is that they are made from recycled materials in Nicaragua, and as a bonus, they go with everything from linen suits to floral dresses and jumpsuits.
